About Music Practice Manager
Music Practice Manager (MPM) is a desktop app that works with the practice material you already have, whether that is files on your computer or links to material online. It organises your content into structured, timed practice routines and restores tailored workspaces for focused practice. It is made by Electric Jelly Labs Ltd, a UK company.

What it does
- A Library holds your practice files and links, including Guitar Pro files, Transcribe! sessions, PDFs, backing tracks and web links.
- Collections group related materials so they open together, for example a score, a backing track and a reference sheet.
- You build timed practice routines from your library items. (The app calls these playlists.)
- Each item stores its own BPM, time signature and subdivision for the built-in metronome.
- A floating Practice Controller keeps the timer, metronome, navigation, notes and layout controls on screen while you play.
- On macOS, the app can capture and restore your window layout. This needs the macOS Accessibility permission.
Who it is for
Musicians who practise with several files and tools open at once, such as scores, tabs, backing tracks and transcription software, and want each practice session set up the same way every time.
What it is not
Music Practice Manager is a practice organiser with a built-in metronome. It is not a dedicated metronome app, a tuner, or a mobile app.
